I started farming in 1986 after my Dad retired and began with 3 quarter sections in
Winnebago county Iowa. I farmed up to 1500 rented acres with another 500 of custom
planting and harvesting for a neighbor along with a seed dealership for NK brand seeds.
A life event prevented me from continuing on with that in 2002 and I was out of farming until 2005
when I started farming the two family quarters with help from two good neighbors, Mike and Doug Hauan.
I picked up a couple more smaller parcels through the years and also went to school for an RN degree to
raise my three children, Alannah, Sydney & Reece. Now that the youngest is 18 I am venturing into a business
with my wife Kelly. My son Reece who is now 18 plans on college and has expressed a strong desire to farm and also drive truck. Kelly and I were married August 5, 2017. We met December 2011. She has two girls and a boy also.
Both of us grew up on farms and continue to enjoy the Iowa farm life and love the spring and fall field work
when the action happens.

Above photo from last fall on a chilly night unloading corn with dryer running and fans blowing hot air from corn in the bins.
We are located in north central Iowa just outside a great little town called Thompson
that is well known for a great steak house that people travel many miles to enjoy.
Enjoy some of the many photos below from over the years of life on this farm.
